Martha Montag Brown & Associates LLC is a nationally known, full-service executive search practice and one of the few with a unique focus on philanthropy, community affairs, and corporate responsibility. We are one of the only search firms in the country that specialize in these areas. We are a boutique firm and work personally on each search we take on. Foundations and companies are our most frequent client and we have worked on dozens of searches for senior leadership and key staff positions President & CEO, Vice Presidents, Directors, Program Officers and others. We are executive search professionals who have also held senior positions in foundation and corporate social responsibility environments. We have an exceptional track record of identifying and placing diverse candidates.

In addition to our experience in executive search, we have worked directly in the field. Martha Montag Brown headed a corporate foundation, directed a global community affairs department and has worked with non-profits professionally and personally for more than 25 years. Elissa Kittner is a corporate social responsibility consultant who has worked in corporate and non-profit settings for the last 20 years.

We have extensive networks and contacts that draw upon our professional experiences and broad relationships with senior leaders in the field, former colleagues, and prior search placements. We maintain a database of thousands of targeted sources in corporate, foundation and non-profit positions ranging from executive directors and program officers to leaders in corporate public affairs and community affairs. We also have specialized contacts in the areas of corporate social responsibility, health, education, children/youth/families, social justice, international development, and environmental affairs.

As a small practice, we make ourselves available and accessible to our clients 24/7. We also work on all of the searches directly ourselves. For every search, we handle all the sourcing, outreach, candidate interviews and reference checking personally.
