If you are a client or potential client who is looking to hire a candidate, we may collect your name, contact details, title or position, products or services requested, or other information that you provide via conversations, interviews, or written or email correspondence.

Additionally, clients who are looking to hire a candidate frequently ask us to provide them with aggregated and de-identified information about the diversity of candidate pools in terms of gender and race/ethnic background. You are not required to provide this information, but we provide the opportunity to share this strictly optional information about yourself. We will not add this information to your job application that we provide to the client. For clarity, we will not disclose information you provide about your gender or racial/ethnic background to a client in a manner that identifies you.

If you are a candidate, we may also collect information about from Publicly Available Sources to supplement the information you provide such as contact information, certifications, educational background, employment history, location, certifications, and specific skills.

How We Use This Information

We ask for and maintain this information as part of our executive search business. Such personal information is used for the purposes of carrying out the tasks related to our executive search practice, and includes, but is not limited to, maintaining your account, evaluating your qualifications, contacting you as a candidates or potential candidate for further information, contacting the references you provide, and communicating with clients who are looking to hire a candidate about you. We also may use your information for internal purposes such as testing and maintaining our company databases, networks, and computer systems, and for training.


Please note that unless you tell us otherwise, and as part of our services to you, we may share your information with current or future clients who are looking to hire a candidate. To enable us to share your personal information or to contact you for future opportunities, we store your personal information unless and until you direct us to delete said information. We may share your information we collect or that you provide with our offices and staff where necessary or appropriate in connection with the performance of our executive search or other services. We maintain your information in our proprietary database, which is only accessible to Martha Montag Brown & Associates, LLC and third-party sub-contractors, as well as clients who are looking to hire a candidate and who are able to view only data we make available to them relevant to their particular search. We use the information we have in our database to identify individuals who might be a match for positions we are working to fill on behalf of our clients. We may also share information with our clients who may be looking to hire a candidate wherever the client is located as necessary or appropriate to provide them with requested products or services.

You can review and change information in your profile by logging into your Martha Montag Brown account and visiting your profile page. You may also request that we delete or make changes to your personal information by contacting us by email at search@marthamontagbrown.com. We may not accommodate a request to delete or change information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement.

How We Protect Your Information

Martha Montag Brown & Associates, LLC maintains reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from loss, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction.
